LWCF recently sent a donation of mattresses and lotion to a center in Tanzania that supports children who are blind, deaf, and have albinism.On our recent trip to Africa, we visited a government-run center in Tanzania housing children who are blind, deaf, and children with albinism. The center was in need of mattresses (some were sleeping three in a bed!) and lotion for the children with albinism. On top of contributing a donation of mattresses and lotion to the center, LWCF was able to fund a large organic garden and expand our sponsorship program. The organization will also construct a playground there in the near future.
