Spring 2025 Newsletter Update

The American team for the Living Water Children’s Fund, hosted an internal book drive. Each student handpicked a book(s) off of their bookshelf, then wrote a handwritten letter(s) to their penpal(s). Altogether we sent about 20 books to Tanzania, and the students there were so happy! They sent us pictures of them holding up their new books and saying how excited they were. The students said that after they read the books, they will each write a book report on it. I personally did not send a book, but I did write two handwritten letters to my penpals. I mailed the letters to Maria Iorillo, and was very excited to see the Tanzanian students’ reactions!
