ABOUT THIS PROJECT
Sherry Fine Academy is a pre-school providing a nurturing environment for more than 100 students ages 2-6 on two campuses in one of the poorest sections of Dar Es Salaam. This school is run under the leadership of Alex Migera. All teachers have received training in Montessori education and children benefit from the independence and critical thinking skills they are developing. The school continues to grow and serve an increasing number of children in the area, many of whom are orphaned, disabled, or both.
